My husband and I have been adoptive parents for over 19 years. We have a total of 8 adopted children. The last 3 that we adopted, we had our home study done and post placement visits done thru Home Study Services of NC with Anne Liddicote. It was so much easier than going thru the state and so less evasive. The children were comfortable when she came out to the house, not just the ones that were being placed at the time, but the ones that we had already adopted.

When we were inquiring about children she was there to help and would give us her opinion. Anne would always ask the other workers the right questions to get the most information. She helped us from making some mistakes along the way by not adoption children that would not have been a good fit. Anne wouldn’t let us give up and kept pushing forward until we found the children for our family. She helped with out of state and also local placements. Even with the ICPC, she kept on top of things and made sure all was done correctly.

I have worked with many social workers and have found our experience with Anne has definitely been the easiest, fastest, and least stressful. I highly recommend her for all of your adoption needs. If not for Anne, we would never have gotten our last 3 children. She worked very hard to make sure that it happened and all 3 have been a perfect fit for our family. Two of the children came from different parts of Texas and the last one came from NC.

We have been working with Anne Liddicote of Home Study Services of NC since March of 2016. Anne completed a home study for our international adoption, and we have been beyond pleased with her services. She has such a heart for her work and for the families with whom she works. Our adoption has not been an easy one, but Anne has been an invaluable source of support for us each step of the way. She is very compassionate, professional, and reliable. In a society where it is very common to call a business and get recording after recording, I love that I cannot think of a time when I have called her and she didn't answer! We have had the privilege of working with Anne who is an exceptional, knowledgeable, credible, and caring social worker. She came highly recommended to us from prominent attorneys throughout the triangle and surrounding communities. Anne has worked with us the past few years on international and domestic (department of social services and private) adoptions. She has been so patient and understanding ensuring we understood the process involved with each adoption we pursued. We especially are fortunate to have her help us through our current out of state adoption. She knows the rules and regulations and helped us to be able to step in and question decisions made by our previous agency and law firm that was representing us.
